Kombucha Cocktail

Also known as my Cinco De Strawberry cocktail! It's got just the right kick to pair perfectly with some spicy Mexican food...on Cinco De Mayo! Tacos, nachos and a kombucha cocktail?!! What?! And trust me, your friends will be saying...."OMG. What's in this?!" (In the best possible way, of course!) No more boring, predictable cocktails for us, right?
I recently interviewed Matt Thomas, the CEO of Brew Dr. Kombucha. Turns out, many of Matt's kombucha flavors also double as awesome cocktail mixes. Inspired by that information, I set out to create a kickin' kombucha cocktail, using the Superberry flavor.
Here's how you make it...
- one shot of gin
- five shots of Superberry Brew Dr. Kombucha
- two strawberries
- one Tbs sugar
- squeeze of fresh lemon
βItβs so easy! Just combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker, mull the strawberries and sugar, shake with ice, strain and serve COLD!β
