Healthy Chocolate Mousse
This recipe only takes 3 minutes to make and it is healthy. No joke!
What you’ll need:
- 1/4 cup of garbanzo beans
- 1/2 container of tofu
- 5 pitted dates
- 2 tbsp of cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla
- 1 tsp of agave syrup
DIRECTIONS: Add all ingredients in to a blender and puree for 2 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the blender and puree for an additional 1-2 minutes. Once blended to a nice, smooth, whip cream-like consistency, place contents into a ziplock bag. Store in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
Once chilled, hold the bag tightly and cut the bottom corner. If you want to really impress your friends and family, cut off the tops of some strawberries and create a little well inside. Fill the well of the strawberry with your chocolate mousse.
Finish off the chocolate mousse strawberry by grating some shavings from a chocolate bar over top. And if you’re like me you can’t get enough salt, do yourself a favor and sprinkle a little sea salt on top, too! Voila! A delicious, healthy treat all in 3 minutes (minus the chill time...)!
XOXO
