DIY Marbled Mug
Literally made IN MINUTES!
Ok, here’s how you do it:
- Fill a container with warm water (make sure the container is large enough for your mug to fit without touching the sides).
- Add nail polish to the water and use a toothpick to swirl the polish very quickly to achieve a marbled look.
- Gently dunk your mug for a few seconds and promptly remove it. Allow your new gorgeous mug to dry completely on a piece of wax paper. (I let mine dry overnight!)
TIPS: Get creative with your nail polish! I used several different colors for a fun confetti look. I also feel the darker the nail polish, the better your mug will pop! You will want to handle these with care and hand wash them!!
P.S. If you plan to save the container you used for this project, you will want to remove the nail polish by skimming off the polish that floated to the top. Pour out the water, and scrub down the container with some nail polish remover. Stick it into the dishwasher and it will be back to new in no time! Have fun!
