When life gets too busy, don't you wish you had access to a personal assistant -- Ya know, to help with all of those tasks you HATE TO DO?  My list is rather lengthy...Unloading the dishwasher, folding clothes, organizing the garage, etc.  Well, Sarah Benken had that same wish, so she created a business around it and voila -- Metro's Other Woman -- A personal assistant service targeting life's most mundane chores...SO WE CAN HAVE MORE TIME FOR FUN!

Sarah Benken came on @AbbieLive to talk about her growing business.  She also showed us a few simple holiday decorating hacks to help you avoid Pinterest fails as you decorate your home this season!

I say four ingredient -- but if you count the salt, make that FIVE! 

We made this yummy four-ingredient veggie dip -- It's super healthy and NO CLEAN-UP required since we pop the yogurt container straight into a cut-out pumpkin!  Using a gold Sharpie, I drew a gold bat on the outside of the white pumpkin and just like that, I am all ready to go!  Perfect for parties and also a wonderful way for your kids to get involved and have fun decorating pumpkins!

If you cannot BUY a white pumpkin, just paint it using acrylic paint! SOOOO easy!

Next time I make this, I will be tracing my design in GLOW-IN-THE-DARK puff paint!!!  SPOOKY! 

Here's the Sarah's simple veggie dip recipe. Thanks for keepin' it HEALTHY!!

1 individual container ofplain fat free greek yogurt

3-4 sprigs of fresh dill - chopped

1 clove of garlic - minced

1 teaspoon of lemon juice

dash of sea salt

Combine all ingredients, mix well, let sit in fridge for 5 minutes. Enjoy with your choice of veggie.

GORGEOUS!  Sarah used candle stands to prop up the mini pumpkins!  A smart trick to make your centerpiece pop!

I love how this whole look is for less than 5 BUCKS.  And it's so customized!!

Sarah says most of what you see here was purchased from a craft store at 50% off.  (Don't you love the holidays?!!  The best deals!!)  She mixes FAKE mini pumpkins that she spray painted baby pink and off white, with REAL pumpkins to achieve this chic, modern holiday look.  

And while the crafter in me appreciates these simple tips for beautiful at-home decorating on a budget, I ALSO appreciate that if I DIDN'T HAVE THE TIME or know-how to pull off these looks, I have the option of calling an experienced assistant to HELP ME!!  If this video describes YOU...MAYBE SARAH CAN HELP?!!!

A junior assistant from Metro's Other Woman is approx $25 per hour and a more experienced, senior assistant is approx $35 per hour.  Sarah says they can help you with pretty much anything (except babysitting)!!  From helping with your holiday decor, to organizing your sock drawer, AND EVERYTHING ELSE IN BETWEEN!
